To push for more effort in achieving Universal Health Coverage, the Kaduna Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) has organised the 2023 first quarter meeting with Private Health Care Providers to review their performance.
The meeting is aimed at updating participants on the progress made by the authority in the period under review as well as discuss on the referral process.
Speaking further on the essence of the engagement, the KADCHMA Director-General, Malam Abubakar Hassan pointed out that the engagement is to ensure access to the quality of health care services under the scheme, hence the need to regularly review the level of progress, identify challenges and come up with a robust plan to improve on the service delivery
To sustain the scheme, Malam Abubakar Hassan noted that the authority has been exploring new innovations in engaging with the stakeholders to be able to achieve its objectives.
Malam Hassan commended the efforts of the Private Health Care Providers towards ensuring that the scheme receives utilization from the various facilities as at when due.
Some participants interviewed speak on the efforts of the agency and ways to improve on the service delivery.
Questions and answers were also entertained from the participants and the authority sought for recommendations from the private health care facilities for improved health care service delivery towards the actualization of Universal Health Coverage
