The member Representing Makera/Kakuri State Constituency has emerged as the 10th Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
The third term member of the house emerged through consensus of members following his nomination by the member Representing Lere East, Munirat Suleiman Tanimu and seconded by the member Representing Igabi East, Salisu Danbaba Bala.
Similarly, the member Representing Kagarko State Constituency, Magaji Henry Danjuma also emerged as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Kaduna State House of Assembly through consensus of members.
His emergence also follows his nomination by the member Representing Zonkwa constituency, Barrister Emmanuel Bako Kantiok and seconded by the member Representing Zaria City constituency Ismail Mahmud Lawal.
The new Speaker of the House and the Deputy Speaker were sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Sekinatu Hassan and followed with the swearing in of other members elect.
