The Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani has approved the appointment of BASHIR SULEIMAN ZUNTU as the ACCOUNTANT GENERAL of Kaduna State. The appointment takes immediate effect.
Bashir Suleiman Zuntu is a Chartered Accountant, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and Astute Administrator. He served as Senior Accountant, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, and Senior Accountant, Finance and Accounts Department, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). The former Legislative Aide in the House of Representatives served as Executive Chairman of Kubau Local Government, Kaduna State from 2021 to 2023.
He holds a Master of Science (MSC) Degree in Finance from Coventry University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from University of Abuja. Bashir Suleiman Zuntu has skills and competences in Financial Management, Financial Inclusion and Public Administration, and Strategy Development & Implementation.
