Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani and the Giwa Local Government Council Chairman, Abubakar Shehu Lawal have been called upon to take immediate action in addressing the deplorable condition of LGEA Primary School, Daitu, in Giwa Local Government Area.
The concerned citizens of Daitu community made the call in a statement signed by the Executive Director/CEO, Daitu Legacy HUB, Malam Sani Musa Daitu.
It said the current state of the school is intolerable, as it is plagued by inadequate classrooms, insufficient teaching materials, and a severe shortage of teachers.
The statement explained that the situation not only hinders the educational development of the children but also jeopardizes their future and the prosperity of the community.
While pointing the role of education as a key driver of community development, it implored the state government and all relevant stakeholders to expedite action on upgrading the school to ensure quality education for the children.
According to the statement, the lack of adequate classrooms, deficit of qualified teachers and lack of essential teaching and learning materials has continued to hinder efficient teaching and learning in the school.
The Executive Director of Daitu Legacy HUB, Sani Musa Daitu, in the statement, also urged the senator representing Kaduna Central, and Members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Giwa/Birnin Gwari and Giwa West to take deliberate action in revitalizing the primary school.
Malam Sani Musa, while underscoring the urgent need for prompt intervention to address these pressing issues, expressed confidence that the state government and all those concerned will do the needful in ensuring that Daitu LGEA Primary School receives the necessary attention.
